Maybe I miss something more complicated. But models for basic mechanism are really entry-level microeconomics--i.e.someone like me had to learn with loathing. I don't see this case entails one with complaction further than exotic probability distribution (hence, the computational problem lies in numerical integration).
When you can do algebra, why taking trouble to do simulation?
