Unless you provide something cool as an alternative, it's likely they will just pick up anything trendy no matter how many times you tell them it is garbage. I think 伪环保's idea is very cool and appealing to young people living in large cities, therefore it is also very trendy. Since the issue does not really concern them: their lifestyle won't change much whether to use disposible chopsticks and whether to build a dam x000 km away from where they live, why do they have to cvare about its absurdity? You know being hypocritical gives people a lot of pleasure and it's often an easy and satisfying not to face the truth.
