Richard Chalfen and Mai Murui
Technical development and growing popularity
The original concept for Print Club came from Sasaki Miho, a 30-year-old employee of the Tokyo-based Atlus Co. Ltd, who proposed and developed the idea. In July 1995, Atlus, the original developer of Print Club, joined forces with the well known video game manufacturer Sega Enterprise Ltd to produce an distribute Print Club machines throughout Japan.
